Shipping

We ship all across the United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). International shipping is not available at this time. We use USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days) or USPS Priority Mail Express (overnight) for shipping most orders. We may also use shipping vendors (UPS, FedEx) other than the one you selected at checkout if orders require non-standard shipping methods or will expedite delivery. This upgrade is done at our discretion and at no additional cost to you. The shipping rate is calculated automatically during the checkout process. If you are purchasing perishable items, we recommend selecting USPS Priority Mail Express (overnight), which will ensure product freshness. However, USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days) may be selected for perishable orders but freshness is not guaranteed and is at customer’s own risk. Orders containing perishable items are shipped on Mondays or Tuesdays to make sure deliveries are made before the weekend and/or packages are not sitting at the post office over the weekend. To ensure freshness, all perishable products are vacuum sealed and shipped with ice gel packs. All other orders (not containing perishable items) are typically shipped within 3 to 5 business days. If ordering both perishable and non-perishable items, we recommend placing separate orders with the appropriate shipping method for each type of item. Once an order is shipped, you will be sent a shipping confirmation email with tracking number. Please monitor your order using the tracking information, especially if your order contains perishable items, to ensure that someone is at the shipping address to receive the shipment.

When Will My Order Arrive?

The answer depends on when you placed your order, but on average about 5 to 7 business days after you placed your order. Most orders are shipped on Mondays or Tuesdays (particularly perishable items) if the order was placed by the prior Saturday. For example, if you place your order on a Wednesday, it will not be shipped until the following Monday or Tuesday. This is done in order to make sure perishable items do not spoil over the weekend. Non-perishable items may be shipped any day of the week and are usually processed/shipped within 2 to 3 days of placing the order. Please call us if you need a rush delivery or have questions about shipping.

IMPORTANT: Perishable Products

When ordering perishable products, it is imperative that someone be present when USPS (or other carrier) attempts to deliver your package. We are not responsible for the package after the first delivery attempt is made. You will have a tracking number to estimate the arrival date. If you are unsure if the recipient will be present at the arrival time DO NOT SEND any perishable goods.

We ship perishable items vacuum sealed and with ice gel packs to preserve them for up to 48 hours (depending on weather conditions), after which they are subject to unfavorable conditions, especially during the summer season. USPS Priority Mail may deliver to certain nearby western states from our location (Los Angeles, California) in 1-2 business days; hence using this option may be acceptable. In any other state, we recommend using the USPS Priority Mail Express option to guarantee safe delivery. If you have multiple shipments, we recommend that you separate perishable and non-perishable items into two separate orders in order to minimize your shipping expenses. We make adjustments on shipment dates to avoid weekend delays when perishables are present. While this may delay your order, we do this to protect your order.

Shipping Address

We guarantee shipment to the address provided. If we are provided an incorrect address or not the full address, we will not be responsible if the package is not delivered. During warm weather, in most cases, if we ship to an incorrect address provided by the customer and the contents have perished, then they cannot be reshipped. 

Returns

You may return unopened and unused products to us within 14 days from the shipping date. Perishable items, such as meats or baked goods, are non-refundable. For refundable products, we will only refund the retail value and any sales tax of the returned products. In lieu of refunds, we may also exchange with a similar item from our shop upon your request. You will need to pay for the return shipping. Exchanges are subject to availability. Please send refund or exchange requests to sales@littlearmenia.com.
